Through some well-wishers, our renovation and expansion project kicked off in January.
The project is set to put up a one floor building, where the library will solely occupy the first floor, so as to create more space, and the ground floor will have an administration office and a computer room where all computer lessons will take place.
It is aimed at increasing the capacity that the library can accommodate at a single seating. Once this is achieved, we will be able to accommodate more students, hence impacting the future of more students within Mathare Constituency.
We thank and appreciate the Globus foundation from Germany for helping us achieve this milestone.
We are currently using the first floor as it is ready, as partitioning and finishing continue to take place on the ground floor.
